Unbiased and encouraging

Development is a high priority for us at Toyota. When employees come to me with the question: ‘I might want to do something different’, I always say: Go explore! Discover what you want and what you are capable of. If extra help is needed for this, I refer them to a career advisor from MEPD. They are unbiased and can encourage employees to explore what they really want. We already have several examples of employees who have benefited from a development consultation. My experience with MEPD’s development programs has been very positive. Many employees have ambitions, but they also need stability and security. A development consultation provides guidance and reassurance in this.
