The Vredestein tire factory of Apollo Tyres in Enschede was heavily impacted by a major reorganization. Just over 500 employees in production and support departments were faced with compulsory redundancy. In addition to a severance package, the social plan also offered the possibility to participate in an outplacement program. We chose MEPD to carry out the outplacement: They can handle large groups and speak the language of the Twente region. Around 420 participants signed up and were able to participate for a total of six months. MEPD handled the outplacement guidance with great diligence and managed the COVID measures as best as possible, without compromising the service to our employees. The majority of participants have since moved on to new jobs, self-employment, or guidance towards retirement. A great result! I have found MEPD to be professional, flexible, results-oriented, and an extremely pleasant partner to work with.
