Personal development …….
Why?

Many people see no reason for development. They are satisfied. Satisfaction is something to be enjoyed. But it is not a reason not to continue developing yourself, to grow, to realize your potential. Always look for a reason to keep growing. To keep developing. But why, really? Why would personal development make a difference? It’s so much easier to stay the same. Just be content. So why should we still make so much effort?

Why would you want to engage in personal development?

  • Personal development gives meaning to your life.
  • Personal growth gives substance to your life.
  • Personal development has an effect on your environment. Our growth becomes a catalyst for other changes and for others around us. Be the change you want to see in others (Gandhi).
  • Personal development allows us to truly live more. As we grow, our lives become more enjoyable and interesting. We feel alive, connected, aware, and more present.
  • Growth and development fit with our authentic nature. When we look around, we see that all living things grow and change. Trees grow branches. Caterpillars become butterflies. Birds build nests and lay eggs. When you work on personal development, you can experience a state of flow. Flow brings a feeling of satisfaction and joy.
  • Personal development is inevitable. If there is one thing we know for sure, it is that everything constantly changes. Nothing is permanent. Life changes, we change. We can go with this flow and make use of this energy. This energy is present! Why not use it for development?
  • We all have an intrinsic desire for self-realization. It guides us. Unfortunately, it is often drowned out by our thinking, conditioned mind. As a result, we no longer do the right things.
  • Personal development ensures that we feel healthier. Partly because we work with the dimension of the body. And partly because development makes us feel better. And when we experience more fulfillment, more happiness, we also have more energy. If our body feels and functions better, it is logical that we are healthier and live longer.

Develop, grow, and flourish

As you can see, there are many benefits to working on personal development. Develop, grow, and flourish! You’ll reap the rewards yourself.
