Corine Pennings

Reintegration Specialist
Since January 1, 2025, I have been strengthening MEPD as Reintegration Specialist Track 2. With over 30 years of experience as an HR professional in the Metalektro sector, I bring extensive knowledge, especially in the field of absenteeism. Guiding absenteeism processes, maintaining contact with all parties involved, and working within the framework of the Improved Gatekeeper Act are all familiar territory to me. As a registered Case Manager, I continuously stay up-to-date with the latest developments in legislation and regulations.

What drives me? Guiding people through a process that is often challenging: accepting a new reality and finding perspective. By providing insight into their talents, qualities, and opportunities, I help employees look to the future with confidence. I always ensure the right balance between personal coaching and the legal guidelines of a second track reintegration process. Every process is unique, and it’s this very diversity that makes my work so fascinating.

Outside of work, I highly value a healthy balance between work and free time. I exercise regularly, attend circuit training and group classes, and sing in a choir for relaxation and enjoyment. I also love spending time with family and friends. All this helps me to live life actively and with pleasure.
