I want to be employable again
You don’t choose this. Illness or absence happens to you. You have to search for new possibilities and find out what suits you. This is not always easy. Especially because you may (sometimes) be forced to say goodbye to your familiar work environment, with all the emotions that come with it. Returning to work can be a bumpy road. Professional support is then more than welcome.
Looking together at what is possible
Our specialized career advisors will look together with you at what is possible. We inspire, coach, and investigate.
We always follow two tracks. Track 1: The same role, whether adjusted or not, or another position with your current employer. Or track 2: Suitable work with another employer.
We take our time, but we value progress. We look broadly and use relevant tools to pave the way. We also consider safety nets and arrangements. Above all, we help you to discover new possibilities and opportunities. Ultimately, you are the one who will take action.
Frequently asked questions
MEPD helps people return to their current position after illness (first track process). In some cases, however, it’s not possible to carry out the former job. Then a second track process is initiated. We understand that this has an impact. Together, we will look at the possibilities and how we can realize them. This includes the use of assessments and job application training. You are not alone in this.
In a first track process, we look together with your employer at what is possible for you within the company. Often, this is more than you and your employer might think. We carefully weigh the interests of both parties in finding the best-fitting solutions.
When someone cannot return to their old (or adjusted) position with their current employer, and a new workplace must be found at another employer, this is called a second track process.
Not being able to continue your current work is tough. We understand that at MEPD. Together with you and your employer, we look at what is still possible. We examine where your strengths lie and what makes you happy. And which roles fit with that. Together, we search for a new, suitable challenge.
