I began to see the positive sides of the arrangement

“I stopped working when I was almost 61. When I reached this respectable age, my employer decided that a good arrangement needed to be made for me. That way, I could stop working a bit earlier. That did take some getting used to. At first, you really dig your heels in, but later I realized that the situation was inevitable and then I began to see the positive sides of the arrangement. You’re free from the workload and financially some things are secured. I don’t miss the work anymore, even though I’ve always been active. I always want to be productive. To make and accomplish things, and now I can do that in my own time.”
