This training on social safety helps you contribute to a safe and respectful working environment. You become more aware of behavior, humor, and setting boundaries. You gain insight into how seemingly innocent jokes can cross the line and how to deal with peer pressure. You also learn how to respond positively
and start a conversation with each other.
Workshop Content
This interactive workshop covers topics such as:
- What is social safety? Everyone should feel safe and respected.
- From joke to boundary: when humor turns into undesirable behavior.
- Recognizing undesirable behavior: bullying, gossiping, and excluding in the workplace.
- Consequences of unsafe behavior: stress, less enjoyment, and lower performance.
- How do you address someone? Tips for respectfully setting boundaries.
- Who can help you? Engaging a confidential advisor, supervisor or colleague.
- Making agreements together: rules for a pleasant and safe atmosphere.
